Julie Caluwaerts

Julie is a PhD candidate at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a VUB alumna who holds a Master’s degree in Criminological Sciences. Julie worked first as a teaching assistant at the VUB and is currently working as a project manager and researcher on a Horizon 2020 project under prof. Melgaco and Mattias De Backer, called Gatherings. The project aims to enhance surveillance efficacy, uphold privacy, and ensure economic and social viability.
