Marit Vermeersch

Marit obtained her master’s degree in Criminology from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2026, following a master’s degree in Educational Sciences. She currently works as a teaching assistant in the Department of Criminology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

She supports the courses Research Design in Criminology and Master’s Thesis in Criminology, and coordinates internships within the Bachelor’s programme. Having spent seven years at the VUB as a student, she is particularly motivated to contribute to the guidance of future generations of criminologists.
