Lorenz Pardon

Lorenz Pardon graduated in 2021 as a Master in Criminological Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. As an intern researcher he participated in the collaborative research between the National Institute of Criminalistics and Criminology and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel on digitalisation and prison climate in Flemish prisons. For his Master's Thesis he focused on the experiences of convicted and in remand prisoners with prison climate. He is currently completing a Ph.D. on the project 'Jail craft of prison officers in post-authoritarian prisons in Belgium and the Netherlands: a comparative research'.
