Katrien Vanlerberghe

Biography
Katrien Vanlerberghe holds a master's degree in Criminology, which she obtained from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2021. Shortly after, she started her academic career at the VUB as a teaching assistant and as a researcher on a project for the EU's Fundamental Rights Agency titled 'Anti-racism in Policing in the EU: Challenges and Promising Practices'.
Katrien recently started her career as a PhD Candidate. Her doctoral research focuses on conspiracy theories; more specifically, on why people believe them and how this belief influences human behaviour.
