Biography
Mariem Es Salhi is a PhD candidate at the Crime & Society Group (CRiS) and The Brussels Institute for Social and Population Studies (BRISPO), working on the SBO-project Primary Prejudice. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Antwerp and an Advanced Master’s in Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies from KU Leuven. Building on her previous interest in identity and migration, her current research explores how children navigate intersecting identities within the school context in a superdiverse city, and how these processes shape their social relationships.
