Victor Augusto Bosquilia Abade
Biography
Victor Augusto Bosquilia Abade is a Ph.D. candidate in a JointPhD with Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Criminology and Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR) in Urban Management. He holds a master's degree in Urban Management (2020) and a bachelor's degree in Architecture & Urbanism (2019), both at PUCPR. His doctoral dissertation focuses on understanding criminality and fear of crime through urban landscape perception lenses, with an applied study case in Brazil. His main scientific interests are urban criminality, public security, urban studies, landscape studies, and scientometric studies. Beyond being a scientific researcher at the Crime & Society Group (CRiS), Victor is also a member of the Landscape Laboratory (LabPais - Laboratório de Paisagem), an assistant at Modernization of Undergraduate Engineering Education (PMG) in Brazil at PUCPR, and the Leader of the Scientometric Committee at the Brazilian Journal of Urban Management (URBE - Revista Brasileira de Gestão Urbana).
