Anneke Evenepoel
Biography
Anneke Evenepoel started in 2011 as a researcher at the Department of Criminology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where she worked on a policy supporting study financed by the European Commission (conducted together with five European partner Universities). This research focused on best practices of youth crime prevention. In January 2013 she started her doctoral research concerning prevention practices with young people. Anneke was also a teaching assistant coordinating also internships and bachelor theses, the recruitment of new students and exchange programmes. Finally, as the secretary of the educational board she supported the Chair in organizing the meetings and coordinating files and projects relevant to our criminology program. Anneke is now an affiliated researcher.
