Katrien De Koster
Biography
Katrien De Koster is part-time professor of Forensic Social Work. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, has a second master’s in international politics and a PhD in Psychology. Amongst her interests is the application of a social constructionist paradigm in human sciences and qualitative research in general, and discourse analysis (both in the domains of organisational change processes and in personal life-stories), in particular). She has also studied youth care and policy participation processes. Her current research focuses on forensic social work and policy. She has worked for ten years as an external psychotherapist in Brussels’ prisons and now focuses more on policy support.
