Description: The aim of this research is to understand the factors contributing to the success of criminologically relevant policy narratives, clarifying why they garner acceptance among key decision-makers, while others do not. Through an extension of the Narrative Policy Framework (NPF), the research endeavors to comprehend the determinants influencing the adoption of policy narratives at both the formal and informal macropolitical level.
